Player Code of Conduct

Being a Rocket means being part of something bigger than yourself. Our players are expected to represent the Rockets with respect, accountability, effort, and sportsmanship—on the ice, in the locker room, at the rink, online, and in the community. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from every player and helps create an environment where everyone can learn, compete, have fun, and feel respected and supported.

Participation in the St. Louis Rockets Hockey Club comes with the responsibility to uphold the standards and values of our organization. All players, parents, guardians, coaches, and volunteers are expected to understand and follow the applicable Code of Conduct and to contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive hockey environment.

The Rockets take conduct concerns seriously. Behavior that violates our Code of Conduct or negatively impacts the safety, well-being, or experience of others may result in disciplinary action. Depending on the nature and severity of the situation, consequences may include a meeting with club leadership, suspension from team or club activities, or removal from the program. Repeated or serious violations may result in additional disciplinary measures.

ZERO TOLERANCE: Any player, parent, coach, or other member of the Rockets community whose conduct is determined to be harmful or detrimental to the safety, integrity, or well-being of our players, teams, or organization may be subject to immediate disciplinary action, up to and including removal from participation.

While the Code of Conduct provides specific expectations and guidelines, the foundation of our program is built on a few simple principles: Represent the Rockets with respect, accountability, effort, and sportsmanship—on the ice, in the locker room, at the rink, online, and in the community.
