2025 St. Louis Spring League

The Rockets offer The St. Louis Spring League as a fun, games only, league where your player can work on their overall game in a low stress environment. The Saint Louis Spring League is open to all players in the Saint Louis area. The Saint Louis Spring League has existed for many years and many players have had a great time playing in this mixed ability grouping, games only league. During Spring League, your player will play 1-2 times per week, predominantly on the weekends.

Details for 6U/8U, 10U and 12U

Each team will play 8-10 games beginning the weekend of April 5th and concluding, after skaters take a break for Memorial Day weekend, on the weekend of May 31st.


ALL players must be registered to play in this league. No exceptions!


Games will be 60 minutes long and referees will be provided.

Cost for 6U/8U, 10U and 12U

Skaters: $300

Goalies: $75

A Spring League jersey will be provided the day of the game by your teams coach.

When

Spring League games will take place during the weekend. Depending on our schedule teams may play 2 games in one day or one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

  • The schedule will be published on this page, and on your team's Crossbar account. Spring League Games will be published approximately one week before games begin to assure that teams are balanced as players register.

Will teams have practices?

  • Teams will not practice during Spring League. Spring League is a games only program designed for a low stress environment to allow players to enjoy the game of hockey.


How can I help coach, help open bench doors during games, help on ice with the 8U/6U division?

  • There is no hockey knowledge required to coach and volunteer for Spring League but it is preferred. Spring League is a USA Hockey sanctioned league so traditional rules and guidelines must be met by coaches and volunteers. If you would like to register as a coach for Spring League, register by selecting the "Coach" option at the time of checkout. Coaching is a free registration and the registrant must be signed in to their own Crossbar account when registering their player.


My player would like to play on a team with some of his/her friends. Can a request be made to accomidate this?

  • While we are able to accommodate some requests, the Rockets must balance the rosters for our teams to ensure that they are all comprised of similar skill levels. When registering, please make sure you notate the request in the questions!


When will my player get their jersey?

  • Each player will reviece their jersey on the day of the first game. The Rockets will designate a coach to come to the Rockets Off Ice Facility to pick up the jerseys. Unfortuantely, we are not able to take jersey number requests for Spring League.

14U Information

The Rockets 14U Spring League will be comprised of a 4 week, 4 on 4 cross ice structure. Please note that 10 players per team will be required for 14U Spring League. Games for the 14U, games only Spring League will be played Tuesday evenings, at 8:45 pm at the Brentwood Ice Rink on the following dates:
