The first practice will be 9/22 at 5:45pm at Webster Groves Ice Rink. We will be selecting teams after that skate. We will load players into Sports Engine and practice and game time will be shared on Sports Engine app.

Getting started:

Welcome to 6U! Now that you have registered your child to play with the Rockets, you will likely have a number of questions about what to expect including games, practices and equipment. Regular season: 

Evaluations will take place in mid-September. Rockets instructors will work with players to assess skill level over a series of practices. Balanced teams will be formed to play cross-ice against teams in our area. Some intra-squad games will also take place. 

Practice will take place once a week. Practice will be held on Friday evenings at Webster Groves and Sunday mornings at Brentwood. 

Friday practices: 5:45-6:45pm @ Webster Groves Ice Rink 

*TENTATIVE- Saturday intersquad games 6:45-7:45am @ Creve Coeur*

Sunday practice/Scheduled Home Games: 9:00-10:00am @ Brentwood Ice Rink

Players may also have practices at our Off Ice Facility. 

Games will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays beginning in October. Teams will likely play in one jamboree/tournament during the season.

Please have you player dressed in full gear and ready to be on the ice in plenty of time for practices and games. This typically takes 15 - 30 minutes before the scheduled event.

Goals of this program are to develop skating and puck handling skills through a variety of drills and games as well as to have fun and enjoy the game.
