Rockets announce acceptance into Central States Developmental Hockey League!

Exciting time to be a St. Louis Rocket!

The St. Louis Rockets Hockey club is very excited to announce our acceptance in the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL).  We will be fielding teams at the 2009 birth year (Squirt Major) as well as the 2006 birth year (Bantam Minor).

These teams will play a CSDHL schedule plus tournaments.  The cost structure associated with these teams will be announced in the coming days.

About the CSDHL: Established in 1999, the Central States Developmental Hockey League is a competitive league organized for elite Tier II hockey teams within Illinois and the Central States region. Sanctioned by USA Hockey, the CSDHL offer competitive travel hockey at the Midget, Bantam, Pee Wee and Squirt levels.

Our Rockets CSDHL teams will receive 100+ hours of ice to be used for home games as well as practices (August – March).  They will play anywhere from a 24-30 game league schedule plus, with half of them in Chicago and half of them in St. Louis. Teams will also play 15 – 30 practice and or tournament games during the course of the season. Each team will have one off-ice session per week at our Rockets training facility in Brentwood.


Travel: Teams will travel 6-8 times a year, this includes tournaments

 Cost: The cost for these teams will be $2750 for registration +  team fee (this fee will include tournaments, jerseys, coaches travel etc..)
