Rockets Elite Spring Team & Program 

Program Goal:

A 8-week program will be provided for highly skilled players to develop over the spring hockey season. We will be conducting tryouts for this elite program. Our selected Rockets coaches will conduct high tempo practices as well as off-ice training sessions that will push players to become the best players they can be.  Off-ice sessions will be held at the Rockets Training Facility and will be ran by RIPT Hockey Training. 

Practices will be limited to 1-3 times per week to allow players to develop athleticism through other sports. Some weekend practices will be scheduled throughout the spring season for scrimmages. Additionally, some skaters will be selected for our tournament teams.  This will include an in town tournament (5/3 - 5/5) and a possible out of town tournament in Chicago (5/17 - 5/18). Not all players will make a tournament team. Any players who make a tournament team will have to pay an extra fee.

Length:  April – May
Tryouts: Early March (dates below)

Cost: $575 plus $50 nonrefundable tryout fee.

Those who try out for, but are not selected to, the Elite Teams are NOT automatically registered for either the league or the development programs.  These are a separate registration.  If you want to ensure your child's enrollment in a spring program, you must register NOW. Refunds will be granted, if necessary, in those cases.

If your player is trying out for Hockey Club of St. Louis, please have your skater come to the first practice on 4/2 5:40pm at Webster Groves. Your player MUST be registered to try out. NO EXCEPTIONS.
